World Cup 2014

It's time for the world cup, so here is my poster :)

slow render

After I finished building this robot character I decided

to do a couple of test renders and this one frame

took over 15 Minuets (16:58.07), so I decided to 

title it: Slow Render

TIME 4 2014

A quick poster design for the new year

featuring time and space because that's

how a year is measured. Reminds me of

a 1980s documentary video box cover.

It Came From The Deep

A random drawing of a "lobster man" creature that

I turned into a simple poster.

City of London

I fancied trying to do a technically challenging painting

and this took some time to try and get the details right

on the locomotive, but I'm pretty happy with how it's 

turned out. The scenery (background and foreground)

may need a bit more work and detailing, which I might

work on again at a later date.

Just a random wallpaper or poster that I did for the game.

2013

A new poster for the new year. I tryied 

to make it look like an old comic book

but I think that I propally need to re-work

the colours and background.

shampoo

Just a doodle trying to re create a shampoo

poster. All shampoo ads need a minimum of

two basic things; the product placement, which

is the bottle, and what that product does,

which is the swishing hair. 

vw new beetle cup

Just a random experiment with red,

black, and white bold colours and

contrast. Maybe the font needs to be

re-thought. But the original Idea was

that the harsh red and scratchy type

would represent a bad but fun side 

to this car.

BMW 507

A poster design inspired by the colours used

on old posters and the colours of ageing

papers, with a strong black and white

contrasting object to draw the eye which has

an appearance of a news paper clipping.

Suggesting that prehaps someone has clipped

this car out of an advert because it is one that

they hope to buy in the future.

the praying mantis

A little character that I have created in 3D software after following a 
simple tutorial
( http://cgcookie.com/blender/2009/08/28/modeling-a-praying-mantis/ ). 
I then added a rig to this mantis to allow me to pose it for this poster. 
Hopefully this mantis will appear in a short animation soon.

RoBo. Co-D

A simple character that I have created to allow me to
practice and learn new tips on 3D animation. Hopefully
in time this character might develop and evolve to
become more advanced. I'm keeping it simple for now to
help reduce render times and once I've updated my hardware
in the future, hopefully the character and scenes will update as
well. I decided on a robot because I have a general interest in
sci-fi and it should also be easier to animate compared to
organic life.

Star Trek

A simple Star Trek poster made with vectors. I feel that
the colours and flatness make it look quite retro.

cupid strikes again

I got fed up with all the images of Cupid
as a baby, I mean he should be thousands
of years old by now and he probably was
some sort of warrior. Maybe this picture
doesn't need the bold black and type.

why must I destroy

Robots were designed to make life easier and to
help produce all the goods we need, until someone
decided it would be more fun to watch them battle.
True story (maybe).

one bright idea

A pair of 3D bulbs created and rendered in blender that
then lead to this simple layout for a poster.

single malt scotch whisky

I saw a modest magazine advert for
Scotch Whisky which was all nice and
calm in the mountains but I thought it
could use more power to bring it out.

Captain Christmas

Here's a festive drawing I did yesterday.
Odds are that Father Christmas or Santa
must have some kind of super powers.
