It's time for the world cup, so here is my poster :)

the groundhog day house

I found a picture of this house while looking through a
newspaper, the house from the Groundhog Day film.
It looked quite interesting to me and i thought that it
would translate quite well into an illustration, this is one
of my first tries at drawing architecture in detail and I'm
quite pleased with the out come.
Oh and incase anyone is interested the reason this house
was in the paper is because it recently entered the market
for a cool 1 million dollars, which I don't think is too high
for a house of that size.

It Came From The Deep

A random drawing of a "lobster man" creature that
I turned into a simple poster.

City of London

I fancied trying to do a technically challenging painting
and this took some time to try and get the details right
on the locomotive, but I'm pretty happy with how it's
turned out. The scenery (background and foreground)
may need a bit more work and detailing, which I might
work on again at a later date.

nfsw wallpaper

Just a random wallpaper or poster that I did for the game.
A bit of Vector practice.

shampoo

Just a doodle trying to re create a shampoo
poster. All shampoo ads need a minimum of
two basic things; the product placement, which
is the bottle, and what that product does,
which is the swishing hair.

London to Tokyo

Inspired by a Ted Baker brief to show case British
fashion around the word.

cupid strikes again

I got fed up with all the images of Cupid
as a baby, I mean he should be thousands
of years old by now and he probably was
some sort of warrior. Maybe this picture
doesn't need the bold black and type.

why must I destroy

Robots were designed to make life easier and to
help produce all the goods we need, until someone
decided it would be more fun to watch them battle.
True story (maybe).

angry dog face

A practice sketch doodle of a grumpy dog.

blue tools

Just a simple still life I did a while ago. Blue tools in acrylic.

Another study done with pen.

a tripods adventure

A Tripod's Adventure; a basic hand drawn animation to test movement and motion. The plot is simply about making inanimate object come to life, in this case the objects (characters) are a camera tripod and a fire extinguisher playing on a muddy hill side.

The first hand drawn animation I made while participating in an animation work shop a couple of years ago. It probably could of done with a few more in-between frames to smooth out the motion, but this was just a learning exercise.

horse power 5000

A random illustration showing some of
the gears and computing power that
humans need to get power, where as
it's all natural for a horse. That, or it's
a robot horse, I haven't decided yet.

The doodle pre water colour.

single malt scotch whisky

I saw a modest magazine advert for
Scotch Whisky which was all nice and
calm in the mountains but I thought it
could use more power to bring it out.

It's 2012

Just a random doodle for 2012. It's good stuff

Captain Christmas

Here's a festive drawing I did yesterday.
Odds are that Father Christmas or Santa
must have some kind of super powers.

griffin

A little scribble I did this morning of
a cartoon griffin (mythical creature).

the guitar stance

Random vector poster made to show off
the rock stance. I found the vectors to be
a bit clean so I added a texture over the top.

valleys of the dragon

A quick and bold water colour painting
with some saturation applied.
This could a book cover for a fantasy
story, but it reminds me of some retro
video game illustrations that were used
for posters and box covers for old
computers like the commodore.

Suzuki V-Strom

A painted illustration of a Suzuki motorcycle with some
simple vector shapes places in the background.
The background reminds me of the master card logo,
maybe I should try a painted backdrop later.

Original pen drawing on A3.
